1. Can I book tickets through OBS without having to use the internet?

Yes, you can book tickets by calling our Customer Care at: +91-674- 2555 011 (Multi call-in hunting line)

2. Can I book return tickets also?

Yes, you can book return tickets for all destinations.

3. What are the modes of payment?

  • a) Credit Cards: We accept all Major Credit Cards - American Express, Master, Visa, Diners and JCB.
  • b) Debit Cards: In a country like India, majority of the population holds Debit Cards rather than Credit Cards. We process Visa Electron Debit Cards of the following banks: Axis Bank, Canara Bank, Citibank, Corporation Bank, Deutsche Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, Punjab National Bank and State Bank of India.
  • c) Direct Online Debit from bank account (Net Banking): This is a secure and increasingly popular method of online payment where the funds are transferred by the customer through the net banking interface. We currently accept payments for ABN AMRO Bank, Axis Bank, Bank of India, Canara Bank, Centurion Bank of Punjab, Citibank, Corporation Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, IndusInd Bank, Jammu & Kashmir Bank, Karur Vysya Bank Limited, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Lakshmi Vilas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, The Federal Bank, The Bank of Rajasthan, State Bank Of India, Union Bank Of India and Yes Bank customers.
  • d) Cash Cards: We process Cash Cards to enable customers who do not own Credit Cards, Debit Cards, net banking accounts or even a mobile phone, to make online payments. Currently, we accept payments from Itz Cash Cards.
  • e) PayMate / GiftMate Mobile Payment Facility: The emerging instrument of payment is the mobile payment platform. PayMate/GiftMate is India’s leading Mobile Payment Brand and is currently accepted by OBS.

    Payments can also be made by Cash on delivery (for home delivery or ticket collection at Pick-Up point).

4. Are there any delivery charges for home delivery?

Yes, applicable courier charges would be payable by the User.

5. How can I get my tickets online?

After completion of your transaction you can directly print your tickets from "Print Ticket" link.

6. Can I buy tickets online with my credit/debit card for someone else?

Yes, as long as you provide the valid data of the credit card, you can buy tickets for any other person. There is no requirement for the credit/debit card to be produced while boarding the bus. The passenger should submit the e-ticket along with photo identity proof indicating relevant information (DL/ Passport Number, College ID, Voter Card, Pan Card, any other document which has users Name, Date of Birth and ID Number) that was provided while making the reservation on the net.

7. Do I need to register to book online?

No.

8. Can I Cancel my Ticket?

Yes, all tickets can be cancelled upto 24 Hrs before scheduled departure of the bus, subject to applicable cancellation fees. All cancellations made up to one week before travel date would attract a cancellation fee of 4% of total ticket fare; less than 1 week and up to 3 days before the travel date would attract 7% of total ticket fare towards cancellation fee, less than 3 days and up to 24 hours before travel date attracts 10% of ticket fare. Ticket(s) cannot be cancelled within 24 hours of the date of journey However, please note that the cancellation fee and cancellation period may differ for specific bus services. Please contact our customer service further details.

9. Can I Transfer my Ticket?

No. All tickets are non-transferable.

10. Will I be eligible for any refunds if I miss the bus?

No. It is the users responsibility to co-ordinate with the operator about actual bus timings and accordingly board the bus on time. OBS has a No-Refund Policy for “No-Show”.

11. How much luggage can I take? What is my luggage allowance?

The luggage rules vary from bus operator to bus operator. Up to 15 kg personal luggage is generally allowed. Commercial luggage will be charged separately and will be handled by the Operator(s) directly.

12. I have lost my ticket printout. How can I retrieve my booking?

You need not necessarily carry a copy of the print out, as long as you can display the SMS received from OBS on the registered cell phone number, along with an identity proof at the time of boarding the bus. However, if you wish to retrieve a copy of the tickets print out, simply click on the Print Ticket tab on the top of our home page. Enter the Ticket Number and e-mail ID which was provided for booking the ticket in the pop-up; you would receive an e-ticket ready for printing.

13. What does 'Bus Type' mean?

There are 3 categories of buses that can be booked: A/C, Non-A/C, Sleeper
